Siyah beyazlılardan yapılan açıklamada şu ifadelere yer verildi:

"Kulübümüz; gelişimini Beşiktaş Akademisi’nde tamamlayan, sahip olduğu potansiyel ve yetenekle gelecekte hem kulübümüze hem de Türk futboluna önemli hizmetlerde bulunacağına inandığımız Demir Ege Tıknaz’ın sözleşmesini 2026-27 sezonu sonuna kadar uzattı."
